Activated Carbon

Activated carbon mineral is used for odor, color, taste, organic matter, free chlorine removal in water sources. The activated carbon is a highly porous mineral with a surface area of approx. 1000 gr/m2 and provides physico-chemical treatment. Granular activated carbon is available in coconut based and coal based models. Coconut based activated carbon should be preferred for the treatment of drinking and general usage waters. Coal based activated carbon is suitable for use in industrial processes.
