Dolomite is a natural mineral used to add minerals to water with low mineral content and to raise the pH of low pH waters to neutral pH level. Generally, it is applied to reverse osmosis product water which low mineral content. It is normal to see an increase in water hardness and pH level after the dolomite remineralization system.
