Quartz Sand

Quartz sand is a natural mineral applied in multimedia sand filters. The quartz filter sand dimensions are; 8 - 15 mm coarse gravel, 5 - 8 mm medium gravel, 3 - 5 mm fine gravel, 1 - 3 mm medium sand and 0,6 - 0,8 mm fine sand. Above the quartz filter sand, 0.8-1.6 mm anthracite laying at 30 cm thickness enables to increase the sediment, turbidity removal performance of the filtration unit.
